Dear Circle,

 

As I write, the Spirit's healing outpouring continues at Lakeland, Florida and is being carried worldwide over the internet via God TV. Last week I told you I had received some compelling impartation from the Lord concerning this and that I would share it with you late this week. However, as I have continued entering into this move through the internet, I have found the Lord outpacing what He has already given me. The flow is so vibrant in my own spirit that I am having trouble assimilating what I have received into a structured article. Also, I am being temporarily pre-empted from finishing the wilderness series this week, as well as from answering the specific letters I said I would try to get to. So I ask your forbearance. (If the Spirit starts to move on you, you have to go with the current.).

 

Tonight then, I am moved to just give you the spontaneous gist of what the Lord is imparting to me. My impartation is specifically to all of you with wilderness hearts who are watching this thing from a distance, with both healthy skepticism and perhaps a shot of disappointment and even fear ("Lord, do we have to go through this all over again?")

 

It took Samuel three times to hear what the Lord was telling him. Similarly, since Toronto and Brownsville, we now have a third chance to hear what God is trying to tell us out in the wilderness about these kinds of moves.

 

Here is what the Lord is saying to His wilderness people: "Yes, this is very much of Me," and "No, this is not your move. Not yet." Think of it as a surfer who is looking for that "right" wave. He bobs up and down on several waves, watching them go by, until he spies that "right" wave which he paddles to join and then ride. Not that the other waves are "evil," even though inadequate. They just are not the right wave.

 

The reason this is not your move is because the Lord has prepared you for a different wave to demonstrate a different countenance of the Lord than what He is choosing to demonstrate at this time. The Lord has allocated different aspects of His countenance to different parts of the body of Christ depending on their preparedness and depth of encounter with His cross. When He first came, all the aspects of His countenance were perfectly manifest through our Lord. But in the body of Christ today, they are not joined to center at this time in any one person or a group of people.

 

In particular, the anointings for cross-based discipleship teaching in the inner man and for outer physical healing and deliverance are not yet ready to be joined into a single end-time people. The Lord has ordained first a general move of healing and bondage breaking that offers an invitation to society. Certain people like Todd Bentley and many of the mainstream--regardless of their immaturities and even deceptions--have been appointed as vessels for this move. As such, this move will not confront society. Invitation is the key word. This is not your move, not your wave. It is not what you have been prepared for.

 

Following this will be a move of dynamic cross-bearing discipleship teaching and training that will actually confront both the mainstream church and society with its need for repentance, for bearing the cross and for entering into the deeper costs that result in the full saving of the soul and obtaining our eternal inheritance in Christ. This move--which may still be quite some years off--will be just as anointed and will inherit the preceding anointing as well. In this move, healing and deliverance will be still be offered, only now in a context of confrontation of the issues of the inner man. (There has been some of this word in the first wave, but only very superficially.) This move will represent what we associate with the name "Elijah."

 

Now here is what you must understand. As a wilderness prophetic, your attitude toward the first move will determine whether you will enter into the second move. If you reject this first move because of its incompleteness and immaturities and what will almost certainly yet arise in its midst as deceptions (remember Judas under the anointing?), you will be disqualified from the second move for which you have been carefully prepared!

 

This means you must get past what you see about this present move that does not meet your otherwise accurate expectations of a "true" move of the Lord. The Lord would have many if not all of you expose yourselves to what is happening in this first move and receive from it whatever He would impart to you from it as part of your preparation for the later move. 

 

The people of the first move will also face a great test when the second wave comes. They will be disappointed when they find that this healing wave is not going to return the world's cultures and politics to righteousness. They will have to overcome to face the confrontational aspects of the gospel they have studiously avoided over time. Most of them will be offended and will depart when the second move arises to take over their wave, including some names that were most associated with conveying the first wave.

 

The present move is both like and not like the many 20^th century anointing moves that have preceded it. In substance they are all alike. But in size and scope, this new move is much larger, will go farther, and will ignite in more places than the preceding moves. In fact, it may outdo what eventually became the Pentecostal Movement for worldwide impact. But it will not be the "Elijah-class" move of God--even though the dead are being raised. It is not and will not be your move. Your move is the move of the inner man and of the cross yet to be "birthed" out of this move.

 

That word "birth" is very important. For in these two moves what I am really describing is the difference between the move of the "woman" and the move of the "manchild" who is born from her. (Rev 12--see my article about this on the website.) Right now, we are seeing the movings of the "woman" which are but birthpangs to the birth of the sons. This present outpouring is simply a stronger "birth pang" than any before it. But it is still just a birth pang. Many are reading this as "the baby." It is not. No kingdom rulership over the earth will come with this move or any like it. But rather, as the babe who is to rule simply waits to be birthed encased within the womb with its birthpangs, so are you to WAIT.

 

Therefore, do not be fooled. And do not fear. Do not abandon your post to chase what is by comparison an angel-stirred pool. The Lord wants you to know that He is as much in you now in the desert as He is in open healing manifestation in Florida and elsewhere.

 

Yet do not reject this move because it does not minister to the deeper truths of our gospel and because you are not allowed to be joined to it at this time. Do not take a sour grapes attitude toward this move. Do not be offended in the Lord over it. Rather welcome it. In fact be prepared to wash in what may seem to you a "muddier" Jordan if He calls you too. If He sends you to the pool of Siloam, go! As He said to the "miracle-less" John the Baptist in jail, "Blessed is He who is not offended in me."

 

So, Listen. And Receive. And keep Waiting. Your turn at declaring the full righteousness of God with all power will come!

 

As I receive more on this and am given the means to impart it, I will.
