Audio & Music Files
First Love Ministry is pleased to make available audio messages from other teachers in the body of Christ that have made a significant impression along the way of my own personal spiritual journey. These messages come from a variety of streams in the body, spanning a period of 30 years. They have been re-engineered from "ancient" cassette tapes and in most cases are no longer available from their original source. As well, I will be making available some of my own audio teachings.
A brief description accompanies each file set. Please note that the inclusion of a message is not an endorsement of every point made by a speaker, nor necessarily of the speaker's entire ministry. It reflects only my broader harmony with the main emphasis of the teacher's message and my sense of its value for you. No representation is made here of any relationship between me and a teacher unless stated.
In addition, you will find here truth-filled music offerings that stir the soul and lift the spirit in worship, both original and from those whose prophetic music message has fulfilled the call in my own life to enter into a deeper First Love relationship with our Lord.
Be blessed as you listen, ponder and meditate on the truth in these spoken words and songs.

The Skandalon Series by Ray McCollum - 1989
"Can you handle offense in God?" This is the most significant series I can remember hearing in 20 years, and still impacts me as I listen today It has universal application to the body of Christ, but especially for the wounded wilderness prophetic. Embracing the message of "the skandalon" will do more to work maturity in bleeding wilderness prophetics than a dozen years in the desert. Ray McCollum is the former pastor of Bethel Chapel (now Bethel World Outreach Center) of Brentwood, Tennessee. He speaks from a pastor's perspective within the context of the current established church structure and so some of his points won't apply to the genuine "outside-of-the-church" movement as it is growing today. Nevertheless, hear this word! (Parts 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 of this 8-part series only included at this time.)
Depart From Me, I Never Knew You by Ralph Mahoney - circa 1987
Do we really "know" the Lord? And do we truly appreciate the process through which the Lord takes us to "know" Him? In this solid two-part exhortation, unrecognized forerunning prophet Ralph Mahoney, founder of World Missionary Assistance Planning (World MAP) brings us to rethink and re-understand the relationship between ministry and intimacy in our knowing of the Lord. In Part 1, drawing on his extensive missions experience in Africa and Asia, Ralph challenges the harried and materialistic "enterprise-centered" ministry that has engulfed the western church and spread to the Third World. In Part 2, he leads us through the process of the "furnace of affliction" that must characterize all true prophetic "knowers" of the Lord.
Paradigm for Kingdom Leadership by John Paul Jackson - 2004
At a leadership gathering in Nashua, New Hampshire, John Paul Jackson elaborates how the exponential growth of world knowledge is forcing a closeted and "clueless" western church into societal irrelevance, and the radical shifts in perspective the church must make to stay abreast of how God is moving at this time in history. Central to John Paul's changing paradigm is the "orbital" model of relationship God has designed for His body as displayed through creation. This message wonderfully complements the articles series The New Gentiles and the Next Revelation of Christ, Call to Kingdom Responsibility, and Embracing Uncertainty.

Restoring Friendship by Larry Lea - April 1988
When it comes to spiritual relationship, are you a quitter or are you one who can endure to the end? Based on Peter's betrayal, and amidst grumbling over the seeming failure of his own church vision and the aftermath of the Swaggart scandal, Larry Lea walks us through the 5 inescapable stages of enduring relationship: conception > contortion > confrontation > confession > connmission. Regardless of one's opinion of the speaker and his ministry, this is a must listen for every wilderness prophetic who can't seem to keep any friends.
The Repentance Conversion Ministry of Joseph Carroll - 1980-83
"Acerbic, confrontive, penetrating..." These are the terms on which Joseph Carroll--World War II Australian Army veteran, missionary to Japan and founder of the Evangelical Institute of Greenville, South Carolina--challenges the self-centered, "stay-at-home" heart concerning the total surrender to Jesus Christ ultimately necessary to true conversion, and the total life of faith ultimately necessary to true discipleship. Laced with stirring live accounts from the Pacific Theater, you're "old man" will not leave the room alive!
ARE YOU WILLING TO BE MADE WHOLE?
The Implications of Following Jesus by Bob Mumford - circa 1990
If Joseph Carroll presents the uncompromising side of conversion and discipleship to the self-centered heart, Bob Mumford gives the seeking heart the ameliorating, healing side of that same encounter. For those of us prophetics too used to "sticking it to all men" as intransigent, Bob teaches us the way to "make room for the seekers on the journey" to conversion and discipleship. Reflecting his own crisis transition from the demise of the shepherdship movement to the discovery of pure agape love, Bob directs us to become "person centered" rather than "boundary centered" in our followership of the Lord, and to recognize the fullness of Jesus in His"four faces."
THE IMPLICATIONS OF FOLLOWING JESUS
The Fear of the Lord by Derek Prince - broadcast 1981
When we prophesy the fear of the Lord, are we prophesying from the true fear of the Lord or are we compelling men by the force of human fear? Taken from his teaching series Keys to Successful Living as originally broadcast in 5 segments on Today with Derek Prince, Derek exposits the necessity of the fear of the Lord at the root of spiritual life while masterfully distinguishing the fear of the Lord with its blessings from all other types of human fear.
Introduction to the Transformation and the Anointing by Chris Anderson - 1997
After conversion, the plan of redemption involves the dual operations of the cross of Christ and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Yet confusion and division abounds as saints have struggled for over 300 years to grasp these seemingly contradictory works. Presented at Household of Faith church in advance of the complete course by the same name, this introductory teaching provides the highlights necessary to understand how the inward work of the cross and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit from above function together in the life of the believer to bring us from conversion to glorification, including some of the history of how these works have been restored and opposed by the restorers of the opposite work since the 18th century.
